True True Love

1/1/20: True True Love

With love to my partner of many years and many joys! I’m so grateful that she and I found each other! Love you Peggy!

Started with some chords, developed a guitar riff, added bass, trumpet, and several voices.

The chords are a repeating structure, 2-3-2-3-2… which made me think of a haiku. I woke up one night, squeezed her hand, thought how lovely that was, and started to write this haiku:

In bed, holding hands
In the middle of the night
Feels like True True Love
