Forest Trailing

Came up with a neat fingerpicking pattern on guitar, played in a synth bass part, and then put some plucked and strummed fiddle on top of that.

In order to post it on Instagram, I put together a video of a trail run I did yesterday up in the Finger Lakes National Forest. I see a lot of Red Efts this time of year out running, they are so gloriously orange against the brown trail, they give me a little charge each time. I saw about a hundred one run (stopped actually counting after 50 :).

I left the footfalls in the video at the very end; it is a good feeling to finish a run like that, ahhh.

This piece is about 45 seconds long, I recorded much more video than that, so I went with the signage to mark the three parts of the piece.

As always, let me know with any comments at all.
